Where can I book private dining in Melbourne at Yassas?
Yassas has named private dining spaces at four Melbourne venues: The Yarra View, The Bridge Terrace and The Bougainvillea at Southbank; The Meltemi and The Star Terrace at Docklands; The Agora at Craigieburn; and The Elysian Room and The Northern Terrace at South Morang. Eastland is available for full venue hire for up to 80 guests.
How many guests can a Yassas private dining room hold?
From 20 to 120 guests. The Southbank balconies and pergola suit up to 20 or 24, The Elysian Room at South Morang up to 40, The Meltemi at Docklands up to 45, and The Agora at Craigieburn up to 120. Full venue hire at Craigieburn seats up to 220 guests, or around 300 standing.
How much does private dining at Yassas cost?
Shared set menus start at $49 per person at Docklands, Eastland, Craigieburn and South Morang, and at $69 per person at Southbank. Drinks packages are available for two hours. A 10% surcharge applies on weekends and 15% on public holidays.
What is the minimum group size and deposit?
Function bookings start at 10 guests. A 20% deposit confirms your booking, with full payment due 4 days before the event. Cancellations 7 or more days out are refunded in full, between 7 days and 24 hours out receive 50%, and within 24 hours are non-refundable. You can move to another date within 4 months at no cost.
Can you cater for halal and other dietary requirements?
All meat at Yassas is sourced from halal-certified butchers. The venues themselves are not halal-certified and all venues serve alcohol. Southbank is the only venue that serves pork. Tell us about any dietary requirements when you enquire and we'll plan the menu around your guests.
