What you need to know

Function terms & conditions.

Function Menus & Minimum Guests
All groups of a minimum of 10 guests will be dining from one of our group function menus. Any groups of 9 guests or fewer can book as a regular reservation and dine from any menu in the restaurant (no pre-order required). All groups of 10 or more must dine from the group menu, regardless of any children in the party. We cannot offer any discounts — including Kids Eat Free — in conjunction with our functions or large group reservations. View our function packages →
Deposit & Confirmation
No booking is confirmed until a deposit has been paid — your reservation will not be secured until this is received. A 20% deposit is required to confirm your function. Full payment is due 4 days prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made between 7–14 days prior will forfeit 50% of the deposit paid. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date will forfeit the full deposit amount.
Menu Selection & Dietary Requirements
Final menu selection, pre-orders, allergy information and all dietary requirements are due at least 7 days prior to the booking date. We cannot accommodate changes after this deadline.
Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 4 days prior to the event. Numbers can increase but cannot decrease below the confirmed minimum.
Table Turn Time
Groups of up to 25 guests: 2 hours. Groups of 26–40 guests: 2.5 hours. Groups of 41–80 guests: 3 hours. Larger groups or private hire: subject to minimum spend and time frame — please enquire for details.
Table Layout
Depending on your group size, we cannot guarantee your group will be seated across one long table. You may be accommodated across multiple tables, all located close to one another. Please contact us if you wish to view the premises and understand the layout ahead of your event.
Surcharges
A 10% surcharge applies to all function packages on Saturdays and Sundays. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays. A card payment surcharge also applies until 30 September 2026.
Payment Options
We accept cash and card at all Yassas locations (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay). On the day, we can split your bill into a maximum of 4. We do not accept individual payments for large group bookings.

Yes. We host corporate functions and private events across all four Melbourne venues — Southbank, Docklands, Eastland and Craigieburn — for 10 to 200 guests. Team dinners, client events, product launches, end-of-year celebrations and work Christmas parties, all with shared Greek feast menus, drinks packages and private or semi-private spaces.
How many guests can you host for a corporate event or work party?
Corporate groups from around 10 up to 200 guests, depending on the venue. Semi-private areas suit smaller teams; whole-venue hire is available for larger events. Our riverside Southbank flagship at Southgate is a popular choice for client-facing functions.
Do you offer set menus and drinks packages?
Yes. Corporate functions are served with shared, family-style Greek feast set menus, with drinks packages available. Menus are tailored to your group size and budget. All meats are halal certified, with vegetarian and vegan options for the whole team.
Can we get a tax invoice for a company booking?
Yes. We provide tax invoices for corporate bookings and can arrange deposits and payment terms to suit your finance team. Contact our functions team at eat@yassas.com.au or 0481 997 779.
Which Yassas venue is best for a corporate function?
Southbank (riverside at Southgate, on the CBD fringe) is ideal for client-facing events and city teams. Docklands suits city-side and stadium-area events, while Eastland (Ringwood) and Craigieburn are convenient for suburban teams. Tell us your location and headcount and we'll recommend the right space.
